A joint press conference held by the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights and the Thomas More Law Center is scheduled for December 10 at 3:45 p.m. at the Catholic League’s headquarters in New York City (450 7th Avenue, 34th floor—across from Macy’s).

Catholic League president William Donohue and Thomas More Law Center president Richard Thompson will discuss a lawsuit filed by the Thomas More Law Center against The City of New York for religious discrimination. The issue, which Donohue has been Fighting with city officials for over a year now, is a Department of Education policy regarding “Holiday Displays.” It allows the Jewish Menorah and the Islamic Star and Crescent to be displayed in public schools but bans the display of a Nativity Scene.

Donohue and Thompson will deliver some brief remarks and then field questions from reporters.
