FYI TO CHRISTIANS IN MAINE ABOUT PLATNER
Graham Platner wants to be the next U.S. Senator from Maine. The Catholic League takes no position on the policies he wants to advance, but it is important for Christians to know what he has said about Our Blessed Mother.
Platner brags that he is “about as crudely atheist as one can be.” That is troubling. But what is more than troubling—it is obscene—is calling the mother of God a “skank.” Anyone who talks about “Mary sucking at covering up being a skank” is intentionally insulting Christians.
The Cambridge Dictionary defines “skank” as an “offensive slang term for an unpleasant, dirty, or sexually promiscuous person (usually a woman).”
He has also called Jesus a “zombie.”
