Rev. William J. O'Malley, S.J., teaches theology and English at Fordham Preparatory School, Bronx, N.Y. He is currently seeking a publisher for three novels he has written about the priests of Dachau. This article, which appeared originally in the Nov. 14, 1987 issue of America magazine, is based on his research for those novels.
