In response to numerous queries on choice, Marquette University’s Virgil C. Blum Center for Parental Freedom in Education has produced a small one sheet piece titled “A Primer on Educational Choice.”

It seeks to answer the most common and most obvious questions including “What is Educational Choice?” and “Why is Educational Choice Getting So Much Attention?”

The primer also responds to those enemies of parental choice who attempt to portray choice as radical (it’s no more radical than the GI Bill and tuition grants).

Last but not least the primer points out that Americans have not consciously chosen the present public school monopoly and that it’s time for us to change a system that is neither responsive nor accountable.

Copies may be obtained from the Blum Center, Marquette University, Brooks Hall #209, Milwaukee, WI 53233.
